How do I sign up for OutfitLab?

Download the OutfitLab app from the App Store or Google Play Store, or visit my.outfitlab.app. You can sign up with your email, Google, or Apple account. No credit card required for the free plan.

Is OutfitLab really free?

Yes! Our free plan includes up to 50 wardrobe items, 10 AI suggestions per month, and unlimited outfit creation. You can use OutfitLab forever without paying a cent. Premium plans unlock unlimited items and advanced features.

How do I add clothes to my wardrobe?

Simply tap the "+" button in the app, take a photo of your clothing item, and our AI will automatically categorize it. You can also import photos from your gallery. The AI handles tagging and organization automatically.

What platforms does OutfitLab support?

OutfitLab is available on iOS, Android, and web. Your wardrobe syncs automatically across all devices, so you can plan outfits anywhere.

How does the AI outfit recommendation work?

Our AI analyzes your wardrobe, style preferences, body type, weather, and the occasion you're dressing for. It then suggests complete outfits from your existing clothes or recommends new items that complement what you already own.

Can I create my own outfits manually?

Absolutely! While our AI is great for inspiration, you have full control. Mix and match items however you like, save your favorite combinations, and rate outfits to help the AI learn your preferences better.

What is the wardrobe analytics feature?

Our analytics show you which items you wear most, which sit unused, color patterns, style trends in your wardrobe, and insights to help you make better fashion choices. It's like having a personal style consultant.

Does OutfitLab work with online shopping?

Yes! Our AI can recommend products from partner brands that complement your existing wardrobe. When you shop through OutfitLab, you'll see how new items will work with what you already own.

Can I use OutfitLab offline?

Most features work offline once your wardrobe is synced. AI recommendations require an internet connection, but you can browse your wardrobe and create outfits offline anytime.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

Go to Settings → Subscription in the app, or visit our Pricing page. You can start a Premium subscription anytime. We offer monthly and annual plans with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, anytime! Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your billing period, then you'll automatically move to the free plan.

What happens if I downgrade?

Your data is never deleted. If you have more than 50 items on the free plan, you'll have view-only access to all items but can't add new ones until you upgrade or remove some items.

Do you offer student discounts?

Yes! Students get 50% off Premium plans. Contact our support team with your student ID or .edu email address for a discount code.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption for all data transmission and storage. Your wardrobe photos and personal information are stored securely on encrypted servers and are never shared without your permission.

Do you sell my data?

Never. We don't sell your personal information to anyone. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for improving our AI, but your individual data and identity are always protected.

Can other people see my wardrobe?

No, your wardrobe is completely private by default. We may add social features in the future where you can choose to share outfits, but it will always be opt-in.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. You can also contact support if you need help with account deletion.

The app isn't working properly. What should I do?

First, try closing and reopening the app. If that doesn't work, check for updates in your app store. Still having issues? Contact [email protected] with details about your device and the problem.

Why aren't my photos uploading?

Check your internet connection and ensure OutfitLab has camera/photo library permissions in your device settings. If you're on cellular data, large photos may take longer to upload.

How do I sync my wardrobe across devices?

Your wardrobe syncs automatically when you're logged into the same account on multiple devices. Make sure you're connected to the internet and logged in with the same email/account.

Can I export my wardrobe data?

Yes! Premium users can export their wardrobe data as a CSV file. Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Export Data. This includes all your items, outfits, and preferences.
